The Grill Master

Fancying himself a Master of the Grill, Buddy Fergurson recently became a bit TOO
interested in the process...often finding himself in unwise and compromising positions
behind and under the apparatus.

Yep, sometime living so close to a PETCO can definitely have a downside ~

Buddy's Early Thanksgiving

Buddy Fergurson was pretty happy this morning that his mom decided to apply hand
lotion to her hands - right before she picked up her bowl of oatmeal.

~ A feast suddenly fell from the sky ~
Appearing on the floor right before his "very" eyes!

Buddy and Kevin hope that a feast will magically fall from the sky before the eyes and into the tummys of many others this Thanksgiving Holiday.
As rescue pugs, they know it's important to be thankful for all you have
and to generously help those who are without.

~ two or four legs ~

It's All In The DNA

When asked his thoughts on the current issue of National Geographic Magazine, which features an article on the DNA patterns and the immense morphological diversity between dogs, Buddy Fergurson replied that he was not surprised that pugs actually descended from the herding group - such as the Shetland Sheepdog.  Buddy's mom said she was not surprised either, particularly since all Buddy does - in addition to eating and sleeping - is carry his dirty little pig house slipper around with him, from room...

Oh Buddy... I guess we all end up doing what we were meant to do in life... one way or another!

Buddy's Big Week

It's finally Friday... and what a week it's been for Buddy Fergurson!  First he watched the St. Louis Cardinals win the World Series...

Then, there was the surprise October snow storm.  Buddy always looks forward to eating a little snow and playing with Kevin, but October is a little early!

Then it was Halloween.  Princess wanted to dress up, so Buddy let her wear his pumpkin sweater.

The snow melted pretty quickly, but there were a lot of tree limbs and branches down in the yard.  Buddy offered to help his Dad clean up!

Then it was time for a rest!

Healthy Teeth, Healthy Pet

Buddy Fergurson exhibits great courage and a stiff upper lip as he gets ready to go visit the Vet for his scheduled dental procedure.  He's not particularly happy about it.  And he knows it is not inexpensive. But, he's appreciative that his mom and dad know how important it is to keep at pet's teeth healthy.  Rotten teeth and tartar build-up can lead to serious infections that not only effect the tooth and mouth area, but can enter the pet's blood stream as well.  Sometimes the blood infections can even be fatal.  As Buddy's mom likes to say; "Healthy teeth, health pet!"
