#whatwouldbuddysay

Buddy Fergurson finds it somewhat insulting that just because he finally discovered using hash tags on his instagram posts, that some people think he's been lax in his blog posting!

It's all about being in the moment, you know ~

Head on over to #whatwouldbuddysay to find out what Buddy and the gang
have been up to!

The Grill Master

Fancying himself a Master of the Grill, Buddy Fergurson recently became a bit TOO
interested in the process...often finding himself in unwise and compromising positions
behind and under the apparatus.

Yep, sometime living so close to a PETCO can definitely have a downside ~

The Valen Buddy

Buddy Fergurson insists that he will be his Mom's Valen Buddy forever and ever...

Even if she does insist on putting a silly ribbon him today.

Hopefully next year, she'll forget.
But somehow I doubt it ~

Enjoy your Valentine's Day!

Snoozer's Anonymous?

It's the last day of June and Princess Fergurson is pretty disgusted with her ole pal Buddy.
Not one single post all month.
Sure, one snooze leads to another...but when they start to run together...into a full MONTH
then there's a problem.

Snoozers Anonymous...
maybe that's the answer

Yes, We Are Adopted

Buddy and Kevin Fergurson are in their little red vests waiting for their mom to take them for
their walk.  Every time they venture out, Buddy always hears people on the street tell his mom how
cute both him and Kevin are.  And every time he also hears his mom answer back "Thank you...they are both rescue pets, you know....".  And that is something that Buddy is pretty happy to hear!

Healthy Teeth, Healthy Pet

Buddy Fergurson exhibits great courage and a stiff upper lip as he gets ready to go visit the Vet for his scheduled dental procedure.  He's not particularly happy about it.  And he knows it is not inexpensive. But, he's appreciative that his mom and dad know how important it is to keep at pet's teeth healthy.  Rotten teeth and tartar build-up can lead to serious infections that not only effect the tooth and mouth area, but can enter the pet's blood stream as well.  Sometimes the blood infections can even be fatal.  As Buddy's mom likes to say; "Healthy teeth, health pet!"

Sleepy Time Princess

I close my eyes, then I drift away, into the magic night I softly say.  A silent prayer, like dreamers do, then I fall asleep to dream my dreams of you.  ~ Roy Orbison

The Tomato-Pug Challenge

I think the biggest challenge to our gardening this year has been Kevin - ever since he discovered the taste of green tomatoes.  The first time I saw him with one he had it in his mouth and was eating it like an apple.  I chased him around the yard and he eventually dropped it.  Over the course of the summer we ended up putting four, yes...four different types of fences in front of the tomato patches.  The only thing that finally worked was when I put a solid board in front of the plants, but then my husband thought it looked ridiculous so he took it down and put some other fencing up.
Well, guess that didn't work.

Kevin is an escape artist.  That's the reason we have him - the reason he was lost and rescued.  He can get in and out of anything, so I guess we'll re-think the fence again (or put my board back up).
I went out in the yard a few minutes ago and guess who I found behind the fence in the tomatoes?
Oh Kevin...

Pugs and tomatoes?  I was assured by my Vet that tomatoes (especially green ones) are not harmful if eaten by dogs...and that's proven to be the case with Kevin.

And what does Buddy have to say about all this?
Buddy wonders why Kevin squanders his efforts on green tomatoes instead of setting his sites a little higher...like on a sandwich!
